Refund & Return Policy

At TempoTec, we stand behind the quality of our high-fidelity audio gear. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, our return process is designed to be transparent and compliant with global consumer standards.
I. Return Window
You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
II. Return Conditions
To be eligible for a full refund, the returned product must meet the following criteria:
- Original Packaging: The item must be in its original packaging (including the box, internal padding, and outer protective sleeve).
- Complete Accessories: All accessories must be returned (e.g., USB cables, balanced adapters, leather cases).
- Physical Condition: The device must have no visible scratches, dents, or signs of unauthorized tampering/firmware modification.
- Wrong Layout/Version: If you received the wrong version, please email service@tempotec.net within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the product and the tracking number printed on paper.

III. Order Cancellations & In-Transit Policy

Before Shipment: You may cancel your order for a full refund within 24 hours of placement, or at any time before the package has been handed over to our logistics partners.
- In-Transit Orders (Cannot be Canceled): Once an order has been processed and has left our warehouse for international transit, we are unable to intercept or recall the package. * If you wish to cancel an order that is already in transit, you must first accept the delivery.
- Return Requirement: After receiving the package, you may initiate a return under our "Change of Mind" policy. The product must remain unopened and in its original sealed packaging.
- Shipping Responsibility: In this scenario, the consumer is responsible for the return shipping fees to our designated warehouse. A refund will only be processed after we have received and inspected the returned item.

Refusal of Delivery: If a customer refuses to accept the delivery from the courier as a way to "cancel" the order, the original shipping fee and any return surcharges imposed by the carrier will be deducted from the final refund.
IV. Compatibility & Source Device Policy
- Non-Quality Issues: If a product fails to function due to the source device’s (Phone/PC/Tablet) lack of OTG support or system-level restrictions, it is classified as a Compatibility Issue.
- Responsibility: For compatibility-related returns, the customer is responsible for the return shipping fees.
V. How to Return & Shipping Labels (GMC Compliant)
To initiate a return, please contact [service@tempotec.net] to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
- For Defective Items (Quality Issues): As we currently cannot generate pre-paid return labels for all international regions, customers are requested to ship the item back using a standard trackable postal service.
- Reimbursement: TempoTec will reimburse the return shipping cost (up to $20 USD, or as pre-approved by our support team) upon receipt of a valid shipping invoice and confirmation of the hardware defect.
- For Non-Defective Returns (Change of Mind): The customer is responsible for purchasing their own trackable shipping label. TempoTec does not provide pre-paid labels or reimbursements for non-quality related returns.
VI. Fees & Refunds
- Restocking Fee: TempoTec does not charge any restocking fees for items returned in their original condition.
- Refund Method: Once we receive the returned item at our warehouse, it generally takes 2-5 business days for inspection, followed by the refund process.
- Original Shipping: Original shipping costs are non-refundable for non-defective returns.
VII. Return Address
Please do not ship items back to the address on your package. You must contact our support team first to receive the correct Regional Service Center address.
VIII. Warranty & Modification Voidance
Please note that our warranty and return policy are voided, and any subsequent repair costs will be borne by the customer if:
- Unauthorized Repair: The device has been dismantled or repaired by unauthorized persons.
- Power Misuse: The device has been damaged by using non-standard power supplies, improper voltage, or incorrect DC polarity.
- Firmware Misuse (Critical): * The official firmware has been replaced with unauthorized third-party software.
- Cross-Model Flashing: The device has been rendered inoperable ("bricked") due to the installation of official firmware intended for a different model (e.g., flashing M5 firmware into an M3 device).
- Note: Users must strictly follow the model-specific firmware guides provided on our official website. Damage caused by incorrect firmware installation is classified as user-induced damage.
