Warranty Policy (1-Year Limited)

TempoTec provides professional after-sales support for the global audiophile community. This policy applies to products requiring service after the initial 30-day return window.

I. Warranty Period

  • Main Devices: (e.g., DACs, DAPs, Digital Transports) carry a 1-year limited warranty from the date of original purchase.
  • Accessories: (e.g., Cables, Cases) are covered for 90 days.

II. Solutions After 30 Days

If a hardware issue develops after the 30-day return period but within the 1-year warranty window, TempoTec offers:

  • Remote Technical Support: We will first provide troubleshooting guidance and firmware updates via email. Note: 80% of software-related issues can be resolved with a firmware update. Please check our [Audio Science Lab] module first.
  • Free Repair Service: If a hardware defect is confirmed, TempoTec will provide repair services free of charge.
  • Replacement: If the unit is beyond repair or parts are unavailable, we may replace it with a new or refurbished unit of equivalent performance.

III. "Split Shipping" Rule

For warranty claims made after 30 days of receipt:

  • To TempoTec: The customer is responsible for the shipping cost to send the faulty unit to our designated service center (Factory or Overseas Warehouse).
  • Back to Customer: TempoTec will cover the shipping cost to send the repaired or replacement unit back to the customer.

IV. Warranty Exclusions

The warranty is voided under the following circumstances:

  • Accidental Damage: Damage caused by drops, liquid spills, or physical impact.
  • Power Misuse: Damage caused by using incorrect power adapters or improper voltage.
  • Unauthorized Modification: Dismantling the chassis, modifying internal circuits, or flashing unauthorized third-party firmware.
